Microgaming Reveals First New Slot Machines of 2010

Released: December 28, 2009

Microgaming is well known as being a company that likes to keep media attention on them by releasing 3 or 4 new video slot machines every month. This also means that at the end of each year we get a sneak peek into what the New Year will bring. For 2010, they are pushing the envelope once again and destroying a record that just a few months ago was created by them pushing the envelope for the previous year.

The slot machine is called Arctic Fortune and it is clearly the high profile release of this Microgaming gaming pack. It features a theme of gold rushes, horns of plenty, northern creatures and animals of the Arctic regions within the world. However, it is not really the theme or even the beautiful graphics but rather the winning possibilities that have attracted the attention of the entire online gaming market.

With Arctic Fortune, there are an astounding 1024 different ways for you to win the game. In 2009, Microgaming was the centre of attention for creating a slot machine that had 243 different ways to win and it appears as though they have managed to defeat their old record quite handily. This is why Arctic Fortune will likely be in high demand for quite some time to come.

Microgaming doesn’t like releasing games alone and with Arctic Fortune they will also release Robot Butler. This is a far more standard Microgaming release as a video slot that has a wacky robotic theme, video slot graphics, five reels and 20 pay lines.

In addition to these two slot machines, Microgaming is releasing a third that in any other release group would likely be the high profile game. It is a branded slot machine for Hellboy along the lines of similar slot machines created by other companies for other superhero characters. It has great graphics, a sweet background and it even comes with 20 pay lines and five reels just so that you feel comfortable playing it right from the start.

With Arctic Fortune, Robot Butler and Hellboy, Microgaming is clearly going to be entering the 2010 calendar year strong.
